I had no clue that a peaceful and Spirit-filled birth is not only possible but also part of God’s beautiful design!
I had no idea that GIVING BIRTH is a journey, a gift, and a beautiful part of being a woman!
I’m so grateful that my eyes have been opened!
From as young as I can remember, I was interested in the medical field. I totally thought I’d pursue nursing school, but decided it was not the right time for me.
I always thought birth was super intriguing, but also thought that birth meant “feeling like you were going to die” and just a miserable experience. I watched hundreds of birth vlogs and would eat up birth stories. Sometimes people had cool stories, but I also heard a lot of trauma, emergencies, and terrible things, and it really made me question “does it have to be this way?”
I pursued becoming a doula, not originally to support women, but craving the knowledge: how can this be made better? As I studied, my passion for educating women grew and soon I started attending births.
Very soon I found out, it is SO MUCH MORE than just a bodily experience!!! While the medical system “manages” and “controls” birth, I saw how beautiful God’s design truly is!!! Birth is about letting go of control and leaning into the pain, not running from it and despising it.
And guess what shocked me even more?! There are emotional and spiritual aspects of my life that will never be the same! Postive births have not only been healing for the women I’ve supported, but healing for my own emotional and spiritual walk with God.
My friend, the veil is so thin at births and I’ve experienced His overwhelming presence in ways I’ve never felt or seen! It is a sacred and holy part of life… the birth of a child and the shedding of blood, and God invites you into that!!
So what exactly do I do?
I support YOU (yes, you!!) in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! So that you don’t have to do it alone!
A fun personalized childbirth class where you and your partner are given the tools you need to have an empowering, enjoyable, and dream birth story! I offer these both in-person or online!
Childbirth Classes
As your birth doula, I will make sure you feel supported and carried through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I will be your friend and guide, helping you have a wonderful birthing experience.
Birth Doula Support
